Suzanne Vega has a
wonderful piece in today's New York Times about the genesis and subsequent life of her song "Tom's Diner." It encompasses over a quarter century, and touches on everything from remixing, Jerry Seinfeld and the birth of the MP3. Great stuff.
I found you via Twitter. Thanks for pointing me to the longer form of this piece; I saw the shortened version on today's NYT op-ed pages. Vega is a good writer; who knew?
